Preparing for your nose consultation job is an important part of the process. Here are some tops to make sure you are fully prepare before going in to meet with Dr. Kim Patrick Murray in North Miami for your rhinoplasty consultation. Virtual consultations are also available.

  1. RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH

Best places to look include the doctors’ websites (especially before and after photos) and Realself (for reviews).

Read why before and after photos are the best evaluation tool here.

  1. MAKE A LIST OF QUESTIONS

If you come prepared, you will be able to make sure we have time to answer all of your questions.

We could literally spend hours discussing Rhinoplasty, but unfortunately the visits last under 1 hour and it goes fast.

I am, however, always open to continuing the discussion with a second visit to really hone in on the fine details.

  1. BRING INSPIRATION PHOTOS

Pictures say a thousand words.

Showing me what you like / don’t like will help us communicate faster rather than trying to describe complicated topics in words alone.

  1. BRING PREVIOUS MEDICAL RECORDS

This includes past operative reports (if you have had nasal surgery), CT scans or MRIs of the face or brain.

  1. WEAR LITTLE TO NO MAKEUP.

We want the before photos and analysis of your face to be as accurate as possible.

If you contour heavily, then I’m not going to be able to assess your true structure, and you will be “covering up” things you likely will want me to fix.

  1. TAKE PHOTOS

While the simulations are by no means a guarantee of outcome, this is the main design guide that will be used for the surgery.

Taking photos with your cell phone will allow you to go home and sit with the images a while to make sure you feel completely comfortable with your new look.

Please bring up any possible changes you would like to see prior to surgery, I want to make sure we get it just right for you!
